These homeowner's were having several issues with their open-top gutter system. It consistently collected every leaf that fell on the roof, clogged up, and the heavy winter snows caused further sagging around the system. After being shown our Gutter Shutter product, with its incredible durability and debris-shedding hood design, they were convinced it would correct all of their issues and prevent the potential for water damages to their home. 

 

Compared to the old k-style system, our seamless Gutter Shutter can carry twice as much water, will never sag, brings the appearance of crown moulding, and drains much more efficiently with our wide mouth outlets. We further added heat tape to the two sections over the patio to decrease the snow and ice buildup over the winter. It was laced from an outlet above the far right door all the way through the downspout. Gutter Shutter easily accomodates heat tape installation with its removable hood.

RainDrop Gutter Guard System in Tea, SD

Justin's open-style gutter system around his home in Tea, SD was not performing very well in handling leaves from several nearby trees. He wasn't too sure if the gutters were absolutely failing, or if a few key improvements would make them perform a lot better. He did know the 2x3 downspouts in 7 spots around the house were just not getting the job done. After coming across our booth at the Sioux Empire Home Show, Justin set up an appointment for a free evaluation and estimate of fixing his gutter system. 

 

Jason Borresch, our owner, was out at the home to see what we could do for Justin. Ultimately, the gutters themselves were in pretty good shape, but some debris protection would be essential for keeping the gutters functioning. We would also plan to upgrade the entire downspout system by using our standard 3x4 size and adding in our wide mouth outlets to quadruple the drainage capacity from the gutter trough.
